In August 2015 we filmed the wedding of former X-Factor starlet, Rachel Adedeji and her fiance Jason.
Impressed by the story of how the two got together – Jason saw his bride on the TV talent show, bought tickets to the live shows and talked his way backstage – we were excited to see what the romantic groom had in-store for his bride on her big day.
On the morning of the ceremony we headed to Stoke Park, an impressive 5 star country club mansion set in the picturesque Buckinghamshire countryside, to film the bride as she got ready. Excited for the day ahead, we captured Rachel laughing and sharing hugs with her bridesmaids and the more tender moments of her receiving a pre-wedding gift from her groom and sharing a moment with her dad.
Equally as animated, Jason arrived in a white Range Rover with 4 of his friends all proudly clutching their wedding shirts. Changed into his velvet jacket and buttonhole, the groom greeted guests to the glamorous venue with a gleam in his eye and a cheeky smile.
Seated outside in the beautiful grounds of the Buckinghamshire venue, the guests sat on gold chairs arranged in rows facing the back of the house. Framed by two grand columns covered in ivy, the groom waited nervously for his bride at the top of a small run of steps. Jason waited at the top nervously.
We captured the unique setting for the couples civil ceremony with a panoramic shot from the back of the guests chairs, before they arrived, and then for the main service we positioned ourselves on the steps with the couple. This gave us an elevated view that allowed the wedding videography to include the whole congregation and the moment Rachel stepped foot on the red carpet. Though Jason was left speechless at the sight of his bride the silence didn’t last long as the pair exchanged vows and listened to readings given by two of their closest friends.
Inside the venue, the roles were reversed and the guests took to the steps – this time a sweeping staircase inside the venue – to shower on the couple (and us!) with confetti. We positioned ourselves on the balcony of the buildings first floor to get more overhead shots of the guests before boarding a golf buggy with the bride, groom and photographers to do some filming in the stunning landscape.
The footage in the evening included speeches, the cutting of the cake and a very energetic tussle to capture the brides bouquet!
We ended the night with the couples first dance but are confident the party did not end there!

Here are their highlights….
