About Me
Hi, I’m Anneka. I’m a wedding videographer based in Tunbridge Wells, travelling across the UK and Europe to capture weddings.
My friends would describe me as down to earth, professional, and creative. I’d say that’s about right.
I filmed my first wedding in 2009 and was instantly hooked. There’s something about capturing a day that can’t be repeated that still gives me a real buzz. I love watching the edit come together and knowing those moments are now preserved properly. Hearing from couples afterwards that they’re watching it more than they ever expected never gets old.
My Style
When I say I’m unobtrusive and natural, I genuinely mean it.
I don’t turn your wedding into a film set. I don’t stage moments or ask you to recreate things. I won’t drag you away from your guests for endless walking shots unless that’s truly your vibe. My job is to document the day as it actually happened.
A lot of couples tell me they always wanted a wedding videographer but hesitated because they were worried it would feel overwhelming. Almost all of them later say they barely noticed I was there and can’t imagine not having it filmed. That’s exactly how it should be.
My priority is simple. Capture the atmosphere, the happy faces, the details, and the moments you might not even realise are happening.
After 15 plus years of filming live events, I’ve learned to stay calm, think quickly, and quietly handle whatever the day throws at us.
Outside of Weddings
When I’m not filming, I’m at home with my husband, our young son, and our two sighthounds. We love long countryside walks that conveniently end at a pub.
I’m originally from Liverpool, I’m an Animal Flow enthusiast, and I’ve recently taken up Curling, which surprises most people!
How I Work
It’s usually me filming your wedding, but I do have a small team of trusted videographers I work closely with. They know my style inside out and have filmed alongside me for years. I always edit the films myself, so the final result is consistently created with the same approach and attention to detail.
Why Video
Photography and videography are completely different mediums. Film captures movement, sound, and atmosphere in a way nothing else can. There’s something powerful about hearing a speech again or catching the tone of someone’s voice years later.
If you just want your wedding captured properly, without it feeling like a production, I think we’ll get on very well 😊
