Charlotte + Alex got married at Hendall Manor Barns at the end of April 2016. We decided to meet up at the venue a few weeks before to discuss their ideas and show them some film samples. They were both very excited and it then that I was told that I would be working alongside Nick from Parkershots Photography, we have worked together on a few occasions before and we become a great team! It was then I met the Hendall Manor Barns organiser, Nic, I knew straight away that their wedding day would flow seamlessly.
Fast forward to their wedding day…. I arrived to film Charlotte’s preparations in the cottage behind the barns, she was joined by her Mum and three bridesmaids, soon to arrive, her two brothers and ‘furbaby’ Buffy! Charlotte was very relaxed until the ceremony when she was walking down the aisle to be greeted by a dazzled Alex standing at the front. The ceremony went well and they had two heartfelt readings from close friends.
The reception flowed really well and guests were treated to Pimms, Prosecco and canapés on the lawn whilst listening to Rich Lown singing and playing the guitar. The couple mingled, had their photos taken and we filmed this naturally using our zoom lenses capturing everything as it happened.
The speeches were very funny and started off with the mother of the bride. The whole room was enthralled!
Charlotte + Alex’s first dance was ‘Tenerife Sea’ by Ed Sheeran, shortly after this we started filming their guest messages. They’re always unpredictable, we get such a range from sentimental, funny and…just weird!
