Wedding Videographer at Lympne Castle

Ellie + James got in touch with us after being recommended by their photographer David from David Burke Photography. They’d decided to have their wedding filmed because their friends had told them how quickly they day goes by, and that its nice to have the memories captured for the future to show friends and relatives who couldn’t make it and for future family members.

Ellie + James had their ceremony in a church in Folkestone in August last year on a beautiful sunny day, Ellie wore a stunning full lace dress from Ellis Bridal (her dream dress in her words!) that she found in a small local boutique paired with some gorgeous Rachel Simpson vintage ivory T bar shoes.

After the ceremony, the newly married couple and their guests went onto Lympne Castle, a beautiful Grade I listed medieval castle dating back to 13th century. The theme of the wedding was elegant and classic but with a hint of vintage. They chose a fresh colour scheme with powder blue and ivory that were incorporated by their florist Emily & Me into the bouquets and arrangements at the venue.

We filmed James + Ellie’s reception with their guests mingling, having fun and also some of their photoshoot with their talented photographer David. Incorporating Ellie’s Italian roots and James’s connection to classical music (his parents are trained classical musicians and opera singers! Wow!) they had a pianist from Piano DJ, playing a mixture of traditional Italian and classical music. Their cake was made by Alison at The Little Sugar Box, a completely bespoke design with three tiers covered in delicate handmade sugar flowers, which also matched Ellie’s bouquet.

Shortly after their wedding, Ellie + James jetted off on a three week honeymoon to Italy. They traveled around 5 different towns and cities relaxing (after all that wedding planning!) and enjoying the food and wine.

Here are James + Ellie’s wedding film highlights…
