We first met Andrea + Jayne a few years ago in Tunbridge Wells to chat about having a wedding videographer and their plans for their big day at The Ferry house Inn. We instantly felt like we had known each other a while and had lots of laughs and jokes whilst discussing their ideas for their same-sex wedding. It was lovely to hear more about them as a couple too, and how Jayne had proposed to Andrea whilst on holiday and utilised the help of dolphins, Andrea’s favourite!

Andrea + Jayne’s ideas for the big day

The couple wanted all of their friends and family to be present and unfortunately the pandemic delayed that but they finally got what they’d hoped for in December 2021.

How the day flowed…

We arrived at the Ferry House Inn to start filming both preparations, shooting alongside the fantastic Kerry Ann Duffy Photography, we were able to time the key moments perfectly and captured so much footage! Jayne’s Mum and partner helped her prepare, and Andrea’s Mum and bridesmaids were on hand and she was on time for her Dad to see her in her dress.

The Ceremony at The Ferry House Inn

Andrea + Jayne had a legal celebrant and a friend who also conducted a more personal part of the ceremony. It was a lovely service and everybody enjoyed listening and watching the couple make their vows.

The Wedding Reception

We filmed Andrea + Jayne’s reception exactly how it flowed, getting shots of everybody mingling, confetti, photoshoot, room details and the general fun! We managed to get outside the Ferry House Inn a couple of times for some photos, it was cold but worth it as the sunset was beautiful!

The Party!

Andrea + Jayne had practised a music mash-up for their first dance which was a surprise and great fun for their guests – I still don’t know to this day how they possibly remembered all of the dance moves, it went on for about 10 minutes! Amazing! It was great that they’re decided to have a wedding videographer so it could all be captured to watch back on in the future.

What Andrea + Jayne thought of their wedding film when they first watched it…

“Wow! How lovely it was to watch the films! So wonderful to be able to watch it back and remember and see little details we missed on the day as just impossible to take absolutely everything in.”

Now, enjoy watching Jayne + Andrea’s wedding film below!
