Wedding videographer at Notley Abbey
Notley Abbey is an award winning country house in Thame, Buckinghamshire and when Angela + Rob contacted us about filming their wedding we couldn’t wait to film there especially after hearing their plans for their special day.
Angela + Rob told us that they’d chosen to have a wedding videographer to document as much of their big day as possible and that a wedding film was always a must-have. They said it was one of the best decisions they made and were really happy with their wedding video.
Tom + Lizzie Redman were the photographers on the day and together we liaised like a team who’d worked together before (even though we hadnt!), making sure we all were able to capture those key moments and memories.
We started filming Angela’s preparations in the bridal suite at Notley Abbey, the room was bright and airy, a perfect place to calm the brides nerves supported by her bridesmaids. Angela’s dress was from Stella York and she had two pairs of shoes, one Jimmy Choo and the other Badgley Mischka that you’ll see in the film below.
Angela + Robert had decided on a modern/ classic ‘white’ wedding with ivory flowers, pearls and a hint of sparkle. This was inspired by their choice of venue as Notley Abbey has history dating back over 700 years but it is still decorated with up to date interiors.
After looking at 100’s of wedding cake options, Angela + Rob decided on a cake made by ‘Designer Cakes by Elle’, who was there herself in the morning doing the finishing touches to what was an amazing looking (and apparently tasting!) cake!
In keeping with the theme, Angela + Rob had The Vaults Quartet, a string quartet playing classical music during their ceremony and more modern for the reception. They also played ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ after Angela + Rob had said their ‘I Do’s’ when walking back down the aisle. Later on, a Marryoke Booth was set up by Ultra Booth using the same song so guests could sing along.
The evening music was a band called ‘The Brotherhood’ who didn’t fail to keep everybody up dancing all night!
Angela + Rob decided to go on a two week honeymoon to Bali, splitting their time between Ubud and Seminyak which was the perfect destination for them after such a fantastic wedding day!
Here are their highlights…
